SHORT SCRIPT ENTRY GUIDELINES & RULES

Movie Script Contest is open to anyone.

Submitted short scripts must be original works, owned entirely by author(s) and cannot be currently under option, sold or produced.

Title page must include author’s name, address, phone number and EMAIL ADDRESS (we make notifications by email).

Hardcopy scripts should be on 3-hole-punched paper and bound with brads. Other forms of binding are still acceptable but the above is preferred.

Short Scripts are evaluated by judges based on strength of concept, execution, characterization, dialogue, plot, marketability, production feasibility, spelling and formatting. Judges decisions are final.

Entrants have the option of submitting short script with or without "Optional Paid Feedback". Entrants will only receive feedback on their entered shorts by selecting the "Optional Paid Feedback" and paying additional $30 for this service. Choosing "Optional Paid Feedback" will not influence the placement of your short in the contest but is included as a service for interested writers.

Substitutions of new drafts or corrected pages will not be accepted. And only submit a COPY of your short script to the contest as short scripts will not be returned.

Upon receipt of entry, completed forms and payment, you will receive an email confirmation of your acceptance into the contest.
